Happy Holidays to you and your family. We are excited to be celebrating Christmas with the Sugar Snaps who have a new understanding of it all this year. It is fun to see their eyes light up when they look at all the holiday decorations. They were, for the first time, unafraid of Santa Claus and said that he’s a “nice guy.” They haven’t yet acquired a case of the “I wants.” I hope to keep the wants away for as long as possible. These moments are fleeting and we’re trying to capture them all. We did another photo shoot with MiaZ Photography because Mia is amazing with our children. Here are a couple of our favorites.
You can see how much Ryder has grown in height compared to his siblings. We occasionally get comments from people who assume we have triplets and he is the older brother. It is still hard to believe that he was the one who was our most fragile in the womb. Every week, we heard that he may not have a heartbeat on the next ultrasound. He was born our smallest and has become our tallest. We are so grateful that he is doing so well. They are all doing well. I had a big case of the ‘I wants’ before they arrived. I wanted children so much that it hurt. We had excruciating losses along the way. I am grateful that the painful longing to have a family has come to an end. We are so lucky that they are here.
