Places to Visit with Kids in California:
Sunshine Kids Blog Hop 2014
Summer is a great time to explore with your kids – and you don’t have to travel far to do it! California has so much to offer to families. Take a great staycation this summer by visiting your local treasures! In our second annual Sunshine Kids Blog Hop, we are focusing on our favorite places to visit with kids in California. Enjoy! And be sure to add your own family-friendly California posts in our linky at the bottom. You can also check out even more California posts on our collaborative Kid Friendly California Pinterest board!
This is the second time that Capri + 3 has been involved in the Sunshine Kids Blog Hop. Last year, we visited Underwood Family Farms. This year, we returned to the Natural History Museum in Los Angeles. We have been going since the Sugar Snaps were babies and it’s been fun to see them grow in their understanding of what they see each year.
One fun way to measure growth is to have your children stand in the dinosaur footprints (or sit if they are too little) and then have them do it again each year you go so you can see the changes. Here are the Sugar Snaps in 2012 and again in 2014. I could get just them in the first image and then had to get the wall in the second picture because they’ve grown taller!

Hi Ruth Zankich.
Thank you for the tip about September. We will have to head back there then and take advantage of that!
