Hosted by Multiples-Mom and Caution! Twins at Play
Welcome to Artsy Play Wednesday on Capri + 3 and Caution! Twins at play! Each week, creative blogs join together and share their arts, crafts and play posts so that we can embark on new adventures with the children in our lives. I will get things started with footprint hearts that I did with the Sugar Snaps this week and then please join in and link your posts.
Footprint Sparkle Hearts:
You will need:
-
Construction paper in color of your choice
-
Tempera paint (red, or any color you like)
-
Paint brush
-
Glitter
-
Baby wipes, paper towel, wash tub or other method for cleaning feet
For those of you who follow Artsy Play Wednesday, you know we made hand print hearts a couple of weeks ago. I will say that the footprint hearts are harder for you to do with your child but if our little ones are a good toddler sample, they like it even better. It is a little harder for you because they tend to curl their toes when the paint tickles and are unsure of how to put weight on the painted foot that feels funny when they stand. When their feet are painted they giggle with hilarity and truly enjoy the process. Paint one of your child’s feet and have him or her stand on the paper in the desired angle to make a heart then wipe the paint off. Repeat with the other foot angling to make the heart shape. Have your child sprinkle glitter while the paint is still wet.
Now it is your turn. Feel free to add as many links as you like to arts, crafts and play posts, old or new. Please link directly to your posts rather than your homepage so that everyone can find your great ideas later. Feel free to pin any of the ideas you like, or you can simply pin Artsy Play Wednesday so that you can come back at your leisure and access all the creative ideas at once. It is time to inspire and be inspired. Enjoy.
Thanks for hosting 🙂
