DIY-So Soft Coconut Citrus Sugar Scrub
You will need:
- 1/2 Cup of Coconut Oil (not the liquid)
- 1/4 Cup of granulated sugar
- Citrus Essential Oils-I used Lemon and Orange
- 1 Tablespoon of raw Shea butter (optional)
- Plastic container with lid
Mix the Coconut Oil and Shea Butter together well. Add the granulated sugar and mix until combined. Add several drops of citrus oils and mix. I used 20-30 drops each of lemon and orange oils, but adjust the amount to your preference. Smell it as you add and mix it together. Stop when the scent is to your liking. The coconut will dominate a bit, making the citrus subtle.
Add the mixture to your plastic container and secure the lid. This will last for several months. I suggest making small batches so that your scrub will stay fresh. It is easy enough to make more when you run out. Enjoy!

If you use “high heat” coconut oil, it will have a neutral flavor, making the amount of essential oi you need to add much less.
