We did a photo shoot with Mia of Mia Z Photography before Christmas which was a lot of fun. The Sugar Snaps were full of energy and we are always amazed that Mia is able to capture moments despite that. At this age, they just want to run around and she runs right after them and captures their expressions. As a Mama of twins herself, she is great with kids and is incredibly patient. I will share some of my favorites.

They look like they are starring in a preschool musical comedy…
I love when they hold hands.
As always, it was a lot of fun spending time with Mia of Mia Z Photography. We are amazed by how fast the Sugar Snaps are growing and changing and we want to take every opportunity we can to capture their childhoods on film so that they can see what they looked like when they are older. Have you done any family photo shoots lately? I you have any tips on getting preschoolers excited about taking photos, we’d love to hear them! So far, it has involved us doing wild antics to get them to look in the right direction (from babyhood on).

Lovely pictures as always.
We did a family shoot but it was an "easy" (f we can call a 3 hour session of feeding, pooping and changing diapers while getting pictures taken easy) new born photo shoot with a 10 day old baby.
My friend who has toddler twins says just go with the flow and don't force the kids to "pose" as that way you get beautiful natural pictures albeit there might not be any where they are looking in the camera!

Thank you Mrs. FF.
A three hour new born shoot? You have my admiration! No…that does not sound easy but I imagine you got some great pictures. We go with your friend's approach out of necessity at times because they often refuse to stop and pose because they would rather run around and explore. I agree with your friend that natural pictures are really beautiful.
